Makoshika (Dawson County) - Status Current As Of 7/18/2008

Activities/Work Currently In Progress At This Site:

· TW Enterprises arrived Wednesday, 7/16 to complete the generator hookup, startup, and testing at this site. They discovered the propane tank was leaking from a seam in the tank. Harvest States was called to come empty the tank, Sabre was contacted and they promised  to have the tank swapped out and refilled.

· Sabre also discovered that the tower needs a dish at 140 feet but the tower is only 130 feet tall.  IM Project Management is checking with Harris Stratex Networks to see if the dish can be lowered.

Issue Currently Affecting This Site:

· Tower height may not be sufficient to reach Fox Creek Tower.

· Guy Wire tension needs to be checked.

Future Activities/Work Planned At This Site:

· Infrastructure (64%, 2008)

· Tower Upgrades

· Generator

· Building Upgrades have been completed.

· Microwave hop to Fox Creek (2009)

· Microwave hop to Fallon (2009)

· Trunking (2010 or later)

· Will be having the guy wire tension analyzed and corrected.

Previous Activities/Work Completed At This Site:

· NEPA Status: Approved.

· The construction upgrades to the shelter have been completed.

· IMPM received approval of DIR 072 for guy wire tension correction.
